Volunteer Appreciation Day and Wild Game Dinner

Have you ever volunteered 15 minutes of your time to the club?

If the answer is yes then come and join us on Sunday, March 8th for free food and refreshments.

The club wants to show their appreciation!

Without volunteers the club cannot survive and grow!

This is for members and/or family that have ever volunteered. It is not for the entire family as space is limited and the yearly picnic is for the entire family. Ole timers – do not hesitate to sign up for dinner only – you probably did your share of volunteering years ago!

There will be a “club” clean-up from 8:00 am to ~12 noon and we are looking for volunteers to help tidy up the club-house, club grounds and the ranges.

Rain or shine – work will include general maintenance, general clean-up, painting, brush removal, tree removal, archery range improvements, target bench repair and target frame construction.

Bring your rake, shovel, paint brushes, clippers, chain saws, hammers, hand saws and garbage bags.

After 1:00 pm the work stops and the party begins.
A wild game dinner will be served – and refreshments will be free until 6:00 pm.

So far we have caribou, deer, bear, squirrel, rabbit, walleye, salmon and perch. If you have any wild game you would like to donate contact marty herman at 412 260-3488 or bring it to the club and tell the bar-tender it is for the wild game dinner. Please put on the package what it is and when it was taken.
For those who don’t care for wild game there will be some roast beef and hot dogs.

So that we can plan on what work we want to accomplish and how much food to prepare, please sign up on the sign-up board at the club or contact marty herman to have your name added.

Thanks for all you do!

Contact marty herman (412 260-3488) or inquire at the bar with questions.

Come and join the fun!
